Kremlin refuses to confirm whether Assad is in Russia

The Kremlin has refused to confirm reports that ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has fled to Moscow.
Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said Russia was "surprised" by the rebels' seizure of power, AFP reported.
"As for the whereabouts of President Assad, I have nothing to tell you," Peskov said.
"What happened surprised the whole world and we are no exception," he added. | BGNES
