The first visit abroad of the new President of North Macedonia Gordana Silyanovska-Davkova will be to the Vatican on May 23.

Siljanovska will be received by Pope Francis and the Secretary General of the Vatican, the office of the President of North Macedonia said.

On May 24, she will visit the Basilica of San Clemente, where St. Cyril is buried, and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Silyanowska will also be received by the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella. So far, there has been no confirmation of a meeting with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.
