Fashion brands are returning to Ukraine

Inditex, the Spanish parent company of popular clothing brands including Zara, Bershka and Pull&Bear, will gradually resume operations in Ukraine.
The world's largest fast fashion company by sales will resume online stores for Ukrainian consumers starting today, April 2. As of April 3, approximately 20 brick-and-mortar stores, including three Zara locations in Kyiv, will reopen, the Kyiv Independent reported.
Inditex suspended its operations in Ukraine more than two years ago, after the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia.
Ukraine's foreign ministry said in March it would continue to work to restore international business in the country, attracting new companies to "deepen the country's integration into the global economy."
"The return of large international companies to the Ukrainian market creates new jobs, provides them with access to quality goods and services and supports Ukraine's economy," the ministry said in a statement.
McDonald's, H&M, Danish jeweler Pandora and French cosmetics company Yves Rocher are among the major retailers that have reopened in Ukraine despite Russian aggression. /BGNES
