Monica Bellucci shoots for the cover of Arabic Vogue

59-year-old Monica Bellucci graces the cover of the March issue of Arabic Vogue. The actress talks about feminism and her work with Tim Burton. The two recently opened up about their romantic relationship and started dating as a couple. She first appeared on the red carpet with the director at the Rome Film Festival last October. "It's so exciting and wonderful to share the experience of working with the person you love," she said of her time on set with Tim Burton.
Monica revealed that she loves being in love. "I feel like a real woman" - this is how she describes her current state.
The actress is currently filming a TV series in France and has just finished work on a film with Iranian director Marjane Satrapi. "When I shoot a film, I'm terribly nervous, especially in the first few days. Cinema is a completely different experience," says the actress. She devoted the last three years of her life to the theater, touring Europe with Maria Callas' one-man show "Letters and Memoirs".
Bellucci also spoke about strong women in the film industry: "Things are changing because women today speak openly. They are no longer afraid to speak. Isabelle Huppert, Charlotte Rampling, Fanny Ardan... these are women who are still playing leading roles . This proves that the world has changed. It used to be that women after 40 were not given job opportunities - even though they are incredibly talented."
In the interview, Bellucci shares the secrets of his youth. The actress describes herself as "very feminine" but admits she doesn't care about beauty. She does pilates and eats right. "I'm not obsessed with anything. I like to live life to the fullest," reveals Monica.
Four years ago, Bellucci broke up with French artist Nicolas Lefebvre, and before that, for 17 years, she was in a relationship with actor Vincent Cassel, with whom she has two daughters. They split in 2013.
