Alain Delon: I want to die, life is over

While his children have been at war for several weeks now, Alain Delon's health continues to give cause for concern. When gendarmes from the Research Section visited him at his home in Duchy in July last year, they found the actor very weak and unable to form coherent sentences, Le Parisien revealed.

In front of the general practitioner who came to examine the star, whose health was deteriorating after the stroke in 2019, he declared: "I want to die, life is over".

On the same day, investigators and a medical specialist visited him to determine whether the actor had become a victim of violence against a sick person, as Delon's three children filed a complaint against Hiromi Rollin, who was then known as a companion. At that time, the doctor reported a "state of physical and mental exhaustion."

According to professional assessments, Alain Delon's state of health "evolved in four phases with increasing clarity". Between September 2021 and June 2023, they noted a "significant change in reasoning, associated with slowing of thought and difficulty in solving his family problems, and finally, complete elimination of reasoning," during the July review. In his report, the doctor highlighted the "weak" morale.

Asked about the legal proceedings against Hiromi Rollin, Alain Delon answered in the presence of his daughter Anoushka: "We met thirty years ago, with ups and downs. At first she was my assistant director, then our relationship became more intimate." The complaint was subsequently dropped, as was the one filed by Hiromi Rollins against Delon's children for abuse during her eviction from the Soul Estate in early July.

According to the conclusions of the prosecutor's office in Montargis, the investigation did not reveal any acts of violence by Hiromi Rollin against Alain Delon.

"The witnesses or the health personnel who regularly visited him did not observe any acts of violence against Alain Delon," concluded Jean-Cedric Gau, Montargis' prosecutor. Although some witnesses described Rollin's behavior as directive, there was no causal link connection with the deterioration of Delon's state of health, which would lead to a crime of moral turpitude There does not appear to have been a crime of violence against a sick person established.

"Regarding the events reported by Hiromi Rollin, the use of video recordings allows to exclude the commission of a positive act of violence on July 5, 2023. Finally, the crime of defamation has not been established, since there is no evidence of bad faith on the part of of Delon's children," added Jean-Cedric Gau regarding the second complaint. /BGNES
