Boston one step closer to NBA title after another home win against Dallas

The Boston Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks 105:98 at home in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

Leading the way for the Celtics, who were emphatic in the first encounter at TD Garden, was Jrue Holiday, who had 26 points and 11 rebounds on 11-of-14 shooting. Jaylen Brown added 21 points for the win, and Jayson Tatum and Derrick White each had 18, with Tatum one rebound away from a triple-double - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists. Kristaps Porzingis contributed 12 points off the bench.

For the Texans, Luka Doncic was again the biggest contributor – he finished with a triple-double of 32 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. However, the Slovenian also made 8 mistakes. Doncic received more support in the second match, but it was not enough for the victory. Former Celtics player Kyrie Irving finished with 16 points, PJ Washington added 17, and Daniel Gafford and Derrick Jones Jr. finished with 13 and 11, respectively.
