Bulgaria with five swimmers at the European short course championships in Bucharest

Five Bulgarian athletes will participate at the European short course swimming Championships in a 25-meter pool in Bucharest, Romania. The championship will be held from 5-10 December.

Petar Mitsin and Kaloyan Levterov will participate in the men's race, and Diana Petkova, Teya Nikolova and Gabriela Georgieva will take part in the women's race.

Petkova will participate in four disciplines - 50 and 100 m breaststroke, as well as 100 and 200 m individual medley. Nikolova will compete in the 50 and 100m breaststroke, and Gabriela Georgieva, who broke two national records in short-course at the past State Individual Team Championships, will swim the 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke.

Petar Mitsin will be chasing a good performance in three disciplines. The junior world record holder will compete in the 400m and 800m freestyle events, as well as the 200m butterfly. Kaloyan Levterov will swim 100 and 200 m backstroke.
