Protesters block highway in Tel Aviv and demand new elections

Protesters in Tel Aviv blocked city streets and a highway, calling for new elections and the release of hostages held by Hamas.
Police declared the protest illegal. Police on horseback tried to clear the street and push the demonstrators aside, amid shouts of "Shame" coming from the people, Haaretz reported.
A protester with a megaphone read out the names of the hostages still held captive by the terrorist organization.
On the Ayalon Highway, relatives of the hostages and other protesters partially blocked traffic.
They lit bonfires on some of the highway's lanes. /BGNES
