Stephen King revealed the sequel to a fan favourite story

Beloved horror author Stephen King has hinted that he may be ready to continue 'The Talisman' series, which is a collaboration between him and the late Peter Straub. King spoke about a potential third installment in the two-book series during a recent appearance on the Talking Scared podcast, saying that Straub had shared some ideas he had for a third book before he passed away. King said, "He gave me a really great idea, and I had some ideas of my own," adding that it would be a "long book" if he ended up writing it.

Stephen King and Peter Straub published "The Talisman" in 1984. It tells the story of a young boy named Jack Sawyer who sets out on a journey to find a talisman that will save his dying mother's life. Along the way, he stumbles into a parallel medieval universe known as the Territories, where there are parallel versions of everyone in his universe known as "doppelgangers". Jack also learns that the Queen, his mother's doppelganger in the alternate universe, also died. /BGNES
