The mayor of Pristina, Perparim Rama, handed over the key of the capital to the world-famous Kosovo singer, reports the Albenian Post.

"On behalf of the capital, we present you the "Key of the City", thank you for the special emotions and the warm feelings you give us and for the worthy representation of our country in the world," Rama wrote on Facebook. "Pristina welcomes you with an open heart today and always."

In addition to Rama, Ora also met with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti on November 26.

According to the Prime Minister, Rita Ora has reached the highest peaks of success and recognition around the world, always honoring the roots and culture of her homeland.

"Rita's successes have drawn the attention of the world to our small country and since then she has climbed higher and higher on music stages around the world," Osmani wrote on Facebook.

"Tonight, on the eve of 'Flag Day,' together with friends and some of Kosovo's most successful artists, we celebrated the countless global achievements of Rita Ora and Albanians everywhere, wishing that their accomplishments continue to serve as an inspiration to future generations." /BGNES
