Unknown beat up Steve Buscemi in New York

American actor Steve Buscemi was hospitalized in a New York hospital after being attacked by an unknown man. This was reported by The New York Post newspaper.

"Steve Buscemi was attacked in midtown Manhattan, becoming another victim of a random act of violence in the city," the actor's spokesman told the outlet. He also noted that Buscemi "is fine and appreciates all the well wishes, although he is incredibly sad that this happened to him while he was walking the streets of New York."

Buscemi's assailant has fled and the police are looking for him.

According to the publication, this is not the first such case of an unprovoked attack on famous people in New York. Earlier, actor Michael Stuhlbarg was hit on the head with a rock while running.
