Bulgarian MPs hold extraordinary session over gambling and F-16 Block 70 jets

The Bulgarian National Assembly holds today an extraordinary session because of the Law on Gambling and Taxes, reported BGNES.

The MPs will submit to a second vote the amendments to the Law on Gambling, introduced by Yordan Tsonev and Temenuzka Petkova, which was adopted in the first vote on April 26. With complete unanimity, the deputies have already accepted in the first reading the changes that prohibit gambling advertising in electronic and print media, as well as websites.

The National Assembly will vote on the second reading of the amendments to the Bill for the ratification of the international agreement for the F-16 Block 70 aircraft and related support under the US Foreign Military Sales Program.

There is also a second vote on the changes to the Law on Personal Income Taxes. Changes to the Law on Political and Civil Rehabilitation of Repressed Persons will be adopted on the first vote.

A report on the Bill on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Political and Civil Rehabilitation of Repressed Persons will also be adopted. /BGNES
