Belgrade fashion icon: Serbian society is seriously sick

Nowhere in the world have I seen such vulgarity among young girls as in our country. Maybe I have noticed it in some parts of the world, some primitive countries and semi-educated world that lives like that. But I think it is a disease here.
This is what the famous Serbian fashion designer Verica Rakocevic said about the state of Serbian society today, BGNES reported.
"This is a disease of parents who allow this kind of behaviour to their children, even though these children are already over 20 years old. You've had enough time to teach your children and instill in them that it's much more important to read a good book, go to a good performance, or do things that will fulfill and inspire them, instead of pumping their butts, lips, extending their hair and nails, and then going on some craft. This obsession is present in Belgrade in threatening proportions," said the Belgrade designer.
Verica Rakocevic was born in 1948 and is a representative of haute couture in the country, having won numerous awards around the world. She also experienced a personal tragedy over the arrest of her son Nenad. On this occasion, Rakocevic published a book in which she explains that Nenad was arrested for political reasons - an attack not only on him, but on their entire family. Rakocevic's son is considered one of the new biggest names in the world of fashion in Europe. /BGNES
