Christie's is getting ready to auction off the late, groundbreaking fashion designer Vivienne Westwood's personal collection.
Andreas Kronthaler, the creative director of Vivienne Westwood's label and husband, has selected unique pieces from her wardrobe for the auction that will be included in two auctions. The two auctions will consist of more than 200 pieces covering forty years of culture-shifting work by Westwood.
The online auction will run from June 14 through June 28, while the live auction is scheduled for June 25 in London. Furthermore, a number of charitable organizations, such as Médecins Sans Frontières, Amnesty International, and The Vivienne Foundation, will benefit from the auctions. /BGNES
