Hedi Slimane is reportedly in the process of renegotiating his contract with LVMH and may be leaving his position as creative director of Celine, according to a report published earlier this week by Business of Fashion.
Since Phoebe Philo left the brand in 2018, Slimane has led its design team. However, as his six-year contract is about to expire, the designer and the luxury conglomerate are currently engaged in intensive discussions. It was also stated that Slimane is demanding royalties on every product in addition to a salary that is greater than typical.
