Nadal: I feel good, it's impossible to think about trophies

"I can't complain, I feel good. Much better than I expected to feel a month ago". This was announced by former world number 1 Rafael Nadal before his return to the court in Brisbane.

The 37-year-old Spaniard, who has been out of action for almost a year due to injury problems and surgery, will play at the tournament in Brisbane early next week. "At the moment it is impossible to think about winning trophies. But it is possible to enjoy my return to the court. Honestly, I do not have high expectations. The only expectation is to be able to return to the court, be competitive, and give the best of himself," commented the winner of 22 Grand Slam titles.

"Nothing is impossible. I've been training with a very good intensity for the last month. But for me just being here is a victory. I hope I get the chance to enjoy it and the audience does. I don't have long-term goals because I don't see myself playing anymore for a long time. But I will try to become more and more competitive as the season goes on," added Rafa, who delighted children in Brisbane by signing autographs. /BGNES
