Doncic's triple-double leads Dallas to victory over Washington

The Dallas Mavericks beat the Washington Wizards 112:104 at home in another regular season game of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Luka Doncic had a triple-double for the Texans - 26 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists. Kyrie Irving also scored 26 points for the success, and one of the team's new additions, center Daniel Gafford, finished with a solid double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds, seven of which were offensive. He also made five umbrellas. Josh Green and Jaden Hardy contributed 13 and 10 points, respectively.

For the Wizards, Deni Avdija topped everyone with his 25 points. Kyle Kuzma added 23, and Tyus Jones and Marvin Bagley III had double-doubles, with Jones scoring 14 points and dishing out 16 assists while Bagley III scored 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Richaun Holmes finished with 10 points.

The Mavericks, who won their fifth straight, are eighth in the West at 31-23. The Wizards lost their seventh straight game and are second to last in the Eastern Conference with just nine wins and 44 losses. In their next games, Washington visits the New Orleans Pelicans, while Dallas welcomes the San Antonio Spurs in a Texas derby.
