Miami buries 23 3s to even series with Boston

The Miami Heat took away the home field advantage from the best team in the regular season of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Boston Celtics, after achieving win in game number 2 of the series of the first round of the East with 111:101.

At TD Garden, the Heat, again without Jimmy Butler, punished the opposition with 23 3-pointers out of 43 attempts. Six of them came from the hand of Tyler Hero, who finished with a double-double - 24 points and 14 assists. Bam Adebayo also had a double-double - the center scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Caleb Martin added 21, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Nikola Jovic finished with 14 and 11 points, respectively.

On the other side, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum combined for a total of 61 points, but weren't helped enough by their teammates. Derrick White was the only one of the rest to break the 10-point mark, finishing with 13. Kristaps Porzingis had an off day and scored just 6 points on 1/9 shooting from the field.

The series moves to Miami, where Erik Spoelstra's Heat will try to take the lead against the Celtics.
