The Minister of the Armed Forces of Great Britain Leo Doherty arrives on a two-day visit to Bulgaria.
Doherty and Acting Defense Minister Atanas Zapryanov will discuss the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership, signed in October 2023. Part of the declaration addresses support for Ukraine's territorial integrity, post-war reconstruction and bringing perpetrators of international crimes to justice.
Last year, Doherty visited Bulgaria again, then in his capacity as Deputy Foreign Minister. The visit of the British minister takes place on the eve of the NATO summit in Washington./BGNES
