Doncic leads Mavericks to a win in Game 2 against Clippers

Dallas Mavericks evened the playoff series with the LA Clippers in the Western Conference after winning Game 2 in Los Angeles 96-93. Kawhi Leonard returned to play for the Clippers in this matchup, but Dallas star Luka Doncic was above everyone else on the court.

The Slovenian national scored 32 points (5 triples), 9 assists and 6 rebounds, and Kyrie Irving added 23 points for the success. The visitors led for a large period of the first three parts, but the Clippers found the strength to turn around and pull 6 points in the middle of the last quarter. Doncic and company then went on a 14-0 run that sealed the win.

Thus, Dallas now has home-court advantage in the series, and the next two games will be played in front of their home crowd in Texas.

In another Western playoff game, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Phoenix Suns 105:93 at home to take a 2-0 lead. So Kevin Durant and Devin Booker have to answer in the next two games in Arizona.
